Experiential Learning Program

Step into the game. Build your skills. Be part of the team.

In collaboration with Syracuse University’s Falk College of Sport, Competitive Club Sports offers students a unique opportunity to learn by doing. The Experiential Learning Program is designed to immerse students in the action—whether through short-term, project-based work or semester- and season-long experiences alongside professional staff and club sport teams.

Students can tailor their involvement to match their interests and career goals, with opportunities ranging from 2–10 hours per week. The students will benefit from hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional connections that prepare students for success in the sports industry and beyond.

Competitive Club Sports is seeking motivated, passionate students eager to contribute in a variety of areas, including administration, athletic training support, team operations, communications, marketing, fundraising, and sponsorships. Whether working directly with our staff or embedded with a club sport team, students will gain firsthand insight into the teamwork, dedication, and behind-the-scenes effort that drive athletic success.

Participation requires flexibility, as many experiences take place during typical work hours, evenings, or weekends—mirroring the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of sports.

This isn’t just an opportunity to learn—it’s your chance to get in the game, make an impact, and launch your future in sports.
