1989-1990 ECHL Champions

1989-90 ECHL League & Playoff Champions

The 1989–1990 team represents one of the most successful eras of Syracuse Men’s Hockey, completing a sweep of both the ECHL regular season and playoff championships.

Led by player-coaches Mike Pace and Greg Craybas, the team built on years of consistent success throughout the late 1980s. Their balanced scoring, disciplined defensive play, and elite goaltending made them a formidable opponent.

Erick Krug anchored the team in net, widely regarded as the best goalie in the league, while a deep roster ensured contributions across all four lines.

This team helped establish a winning tradition that continues to define the program.
