Cuse Activities
Cuse Activities is an online community that facilitates connection between students and student organizations. The portal includes information about clubs and organizations you can join, when they meet, and events for you to browse. All Club Sports are required to use Cuse Activities for roster management and event submissions.
Roster
Rosters must be submitted each semester and/or updated as needed. Rosters are submitted through your ‘Cuse Activities Club Sport Portal. Team rosters have pertinent information for contacting all Sport Club participants and are mandatory.
Due Date: Third Friday of September each year and updated as roster changes
Release of Liability
The Release of Liability must be read and signed by every student prior to participating in any club activity, tryouts included.
Due Date: Before participating in any club activity.
Club Sport of the Month
The Club Sport of the Month form is intended for teams to nominate themselves and/or other teams to be recognized each month for exemplary athletic performance, volunteer work, awards, etc.
Due Date: May be submitted at any time. To be considered for a month (i.e. December), you must submit by the last day of the previous month (i.e. November 30th).
Competitions and Facility Space
Club Sport Home Competition Request
Once the competition request is submitted, the requester will receive confirmation, denial, or a follow-up email within 5 business days. Information regarding reservations, training and campus facilities can also be found by contacting any Club Sport Staff.
Due Date: 3 weeks before event
Club Sport Practice Request
New Practice Requests must be submitted for each semester. Please understand that space and time available for Club Sports practices are limited. Not every team will get their preferred days, number of practices, or desired hours of practice per week. Also, anytime a team wishes to cancel practice for any reason, they must let a Club Sports Staff member know as soon as possible.
Due Date: Fall Semester – requests should be submitted by the third Friday of November. Spring Semester – requests should be submitted by the last Friday in July.
Travel Roster/Itinerary
The travel roster/itinerary is used to communicate with the Sport Club Staff when a club is leaving Syracuse, who is going and other trip details. Should the Assistant Director need to contact any club member who is traveling they will be able to.
Due Date: A minimum of 1 week before travel.
Media Request
The media request form is for clubs that want photography at their events. This could be a fundraising event, a game, a practice, or a media day.
Due date: Two weeks before the event. However, the sooner the request is submitted, the more likely the media request will be granted.
Weekend Recap
Please submit this form after any competition. This allows the Sport Club Staff to stay up-to-date with how each club’s season is going. It also allows the staff to keep the website and socials updated and choose each month’s Club Sport of the Month.
Due date: Within a week of competition.
Coaches and Officials
Officials Payment Form
The official’s payment form is used to pay officials for services rendered at club competitions. Please make sure the entire form and W-9 are complete.
Due date: Within one week after club competition
