Men's Ultimate Frisbee

LEARN MORE ABOUT CLUB MEN'S ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Syracuse Club Men's Ultimate Frisbee allows everyone to play the beloved sport of Ultimate. The club consists of two teams, Doom (A-Level team) and Boom (B-Level team).

Students looking for a competitive ultimate atmosphere will try out for the A team, Doom. Playing in the Metro East region of USA Ultimate's college division, Doom will provide you with high-level Ultimate, the ability to play in tournaments all across the East Coast, and an opportunity to better yourself as an athlete and a teammate. Following a 2023 season that left the team two wins away from the national tournament, Doom is ready to get to work again! Consisting of about 25 players, the expectation for commitment is high, including 2-3 practices a week and various weekends to travel to tournaments.

Beginner and intermediate players will be a part of the B team, Boom. This is a great introduction to the sport of Ultimate, where you will compete against other B teams in the area through scrimmages and tournament play. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, Boom offers a supportive environment to develop your skills, make new connections and be a part of a team. On Boom, you decide your commitment, but the more you participate, the more you will get out of the program.

Both Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) students can participate on either team. Dues vary depending on which team you are a part of. Expect Doom dues to be around $70 per semester to pay for tournament fees and housing, while Boom's dues will depend on what tournaments you attend. For any questions or if you would like more information, email doomcaptains@gmail.com or message the team on Instagram at @doom.ultimate.
