The Syracuse University Club Swim Team offers a dynamic blend of competitive spirit and a relaxed atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for all participants. To join, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student at Syracuse University or SUNY ESF.
Each year, prospective members must undergo a try-out process held at the beginning of the school year. This involves timed swim events, with results used by the captains to select the team. After making the team, you'll need to pay a flexible club fee based on your planned involvement for the season—whether it's just practices, one semester, or both practices and meets. This fee covers the cost of caps, shirts, meet expenses, and social activities.
Our team practices three times a week at the Sibley Pool, located in the Women's Building, and participates in or hosts at least one meet each month. At the season's end, qualifying swimmers have the opportunity to compete at the Club Swim Nationals, showcasing their skills against club teams from across the country.
