Aaron Witzel is one of the most accomplished players in Syracuse University Men’s Hockey history, ranking among the program’s all-time leaders in points, goals, and assists. A highly productive forward, he helped lead Syracuse to multiple league championships and a national ranking, serving as both alternate captain and team captain. His leadership and performance came during a pivotal era that elevated the program’s competitiveness and culture.

After graduating from the Whitman School of Management, Witzel pursued a career in finance, joining Citi and advancing into a role in sales and trading. The teamwork, communication, and leadership skills he developed through hockey have been instrumental in his professional success. He maintains strong ties to Syracuse and values the lasting relationships formed during his playing career.
