Wes Rene was a highly accomplished forward and team captain who played a pivotal role in Syracuse University Men’s Hockey’s evolution during the early 2010s. A top offensive performer, he ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in points, goals, and assists, and was a key member of one of the most productive scoring lines in team history. His performance earned him All-Conference recognition and helped elevate the program’s competitive standing.

Off the ice, Rene was equally impactful, contributing to the program’s organizational and financial growth during a transformative period. After graduating, he pursued a career in law and now works in corporate legal practice. His leadership and contributions helped shape the modern era of Syracuse hockey.
