One of the most accomplished players in Syracuse University Men’s Hockey history, Peter-Owen “POH” Hayward was a record-setting forward and dominant force from 2016–2020. He holds program records for career goals, assists, and points, while earning numerous accolades including Player of the Year and All-League honors. A complete player, Hayward combined scoring ability, physicality, and awareness to impact every aspect of the game.

As a three-year captain and club leader, Hayward played a critical role in advancing the program both competitively and organizationally. His leadership helped guide team operations, strengthen recruiting, and elevate the overall standard of excellence. His legacy as one of the program’s all-time greats makes him a fitting inductee into the Hall of Fame.
