Dan Martin was a talented forward and impactful leader for Syracuse University Men’s Hockey from 1992 to 1996, serving as team captain his senior year. Known for his strong puck-handling ability, offensive production, and defensive reliability, Martin was a consistent presence on the ice and a key contributor in critical moments. His leadership helped elevate the program’s competitiveness and culture during his tenure.

Following Syracuse, Martin briefly played semi-professional hockey before building a successful career in public relations and marketing, rising to executive leadership roles. He has remained closely connected to hockey through coaching and mentorship, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and character. His lasting relationships with teammates and continued involvement in the sport reflect the deep impact of his Syracuse hockey experience.
