Lance Davis was a versatile forward and influential leader for Syracuse University Men’s Hockey from 1990 to 1994, serving as both team captain and club president. Known for his strong two-way play, he excelled in faceoffs, defensive responsibility, and playmaking, while consistently ranking among the team’s top scorers. His leadership came during a critical period, as he helped guide the program through challenges and set new standards for organization and performance.

After Syracuse, Davis pursued a career in law and public service, becoming a practicing attorney and local elected official. He has remained deeply involved in his community through coaching, volunteer work, and youth sports leadership. His impact on Syracuse hockey, particularly in stabilizing and advancing the program, remains a significant part of its legacy.
