Nolan Metzler was a high-impact forward whose energy, physicality, and leadership helped define a successful era of Syracuse University Men’s Hockey. A native of Ontario, Metzler developed his game through competitive youth and high school hockey before arriving at Syracuse, where he quickly became a key contributor. Known for his intensity and presence, he played a major role in driving the pace of play and elevating the team’s overall competitiveness.

Statistically, Metzler ranks among the program’s top contributors, finishing near the top in scoring during his career and leaving his mark in both offensive production and physical play. Beyond the numbers, he was a central figure in team culture, known for bringing teammates together both on and off the ice and maintaining strong connections long after graduation. His leadership, personality, and lasting influence on the program make him a deserving inductee into the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
